Victoria Pender LMBT #21245
Hello! I’m Victoria Pender, a licensed massage therapist through the North Carolina Board of Massage who graduated from the Therapeutic Massage Program at Sandhills Community College. I was drawn to this field with a desire to help people, and I have absolutely fallen in love with my craft. Massage therapy has been a saving grace in my life and I hope to share that experience with as many people as possible.
I attend a number of continuing education classes and study groups to stay up-to-date on current practices and to expand my knowledge for a wide client base. I love the individuality of my clients. Every body is different and I approach each session with fresh eyes and an open mind. Your comfort, confidentiality, and personal goals for treatment are my top priorities.
Massage therapy has been known to help with stress, muscular pain, tension, headaches, PTSD, depression, TMJ disorders, nerve pain, and so much more. I’m not promising a cure, but I am promising my undivided attention, presence, and therapeutic touch. I truly believe that massage can improve quality of life for anyone ready and willing to make positive, lasting change in their life.
Services
This is an outcome-based massage that targets specific problem areas, tension patterns, and areas of discomfort. This is modified for each client and each visit. Pressure, modalities, and techniques used are specifically chosen for your comfort and benefit.
This is a hands on, lighter touch modality that helps to strengthen your natural flow of Cerebro-spinal fluid and relieve tension in the membranes of the brain and spinal cord. Our bodies hold on to physical and emotional traumas and this therapy has a remarkable way of connecting to your body’s inner wisdom to help identify specific releases that need to occur to bring your body to a place of stability (Homeostasis). The central nervous system is active in every system of your body, so you will be amazed at the improvements and changes that can occur with this gentle approach.
Want to simply relax? This gentle manipulation of your muscles uses long, flowing strokes and motions like kneading, vibration, and rolling to help relieve muscle tension.
